Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System — Newsletter 12/26/2011
This daily newsletter provides an overview of the natural disasters that happened in the last 24 hours and response measures for ongoing disasters. GDACS currently covers earthquakes, tsunamis, tropical cyclones, volcanic eruptions and floods. The color coding (red, orange, green) is related to the estimated humanitarian impact of the event.

Colombia: Informe de Situacion No. 2: Emergencia Ambiental por derrame de crudo Barbacoas y Roberto Payan (Narino), 23 de diciembre de 2011 Sun, 25 Dec 2011 17:45:17 +0000 Source: UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs Country: Colombia PRIORIDADES / PUNTOS DESTACADOS Entre el 21 Y el 23 de diciembre, el CREPAD de Narino envio alimentos para las comunidades mas afectadas en Roberto Payan. Se espera una entrega en Barbacoas en los proximos dias. En cuanto agua segura, las cabeceras municipales estarian cubiertas por los acueductos. Sin embargo, se estima que unas 1.000 familias de las partes altas de los rios aun se encuentran desabastecidas. El CREPAD solicito apoyo al Equipo Humanitario Local para garantizar la asistencia alimentaria de las familias afectadas. |
