This daily newsletter provides an overview of the natural disasters that happened in the last 24 hours and response measures for ongoing disasters. GDACS currently covers earthquakes, tsunamis, tropical cyclones, volcanic eruptions and floods. The color coding (red, orange, green) is related to the estimated humanitarian impact of the event.

 Zones de regroupement spontane des victimes et etat des ponts et des routes dans le centre de Port au Prince, Haiti UNOSAT 16 Jan 2010 1:37:58 AM  Ce travail a ete effectue en support des equipes internationales de secours deployees en Haiti, suite au tremblement de terre du 12 janvier 2010. Les zones de regroupement spontane des victimes, les ponts et les debris obstruant les routes ont ete identifies a partir des images GeoEye-1 acquises le 12 janvier 2010. Cette analyse preliminaire n'a pas ete validee sur le terrain. Les dommages ont ete probablement sous-estimes.
