Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System — Newsletter 18/06/2015

This daily newsletter provides an overview of the natural disasters that happened in the last 24 hours and response measures for ongoing disasters. GDACS currently covers earthquakes, tsunamis, tropical cyclones, volcanic eruptions and floods. The color coding (red, orange, green) is related to the estimated humanitarian impact of the event.

	Green earthquake alert (Magnitude 7M, Depth:10km) in Southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge 17/06/2015 12:51 UTC, No people within 100km.
	On 6/17/2015 12:51:33 PM, an earthquake occurred in Southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge potentially affecting No people within 100km. The earthquake had Magnitude 7M, Depth:10km.

	Green alert for tropical cyclone BILL-15. Population affected by Category 1 (120 km/h) wind speeds or higher is 0.
	From 16/06/2015 to 17/06/2015, a Tropical Depression (maximum wind speed of 93 km/h) BILL-15 was active in Atlantic. The cyclone affects these countries: United States (vulnerability Low). Estimated population affected by category 1 (120 km/h) wind speeds or higher is 0.
